Arsenal is a very successful club and has been fighting in with the "big boys" (Real Madrid, Bayern Munich) in the champions league for the last 18 years or so in a row. They are known for bringing up young players to be on of the greats, such as Cesc Fabregas, Jack Wilshere or Niall Quinn, but where did they get trained to be the great players they are today?

Arsenal's training ground is located North-West of Watford in the outskirts of London. There many youngsters that have been signed by Arsenal train at the high tech ground to become the best of the best. There is a lot of talented young players from all over the globe. There is:

  • Players from France: Reine-Adelaide, Bennacer
  • Players from Greece: lias Chatzitheodoridis and

    Savvas Mourgos
  • Players from England: Dan Crowley, Tafari Moore and Ryan Huddart
  • Then there is players from all over: Krystian Bielik - Poland, Alex Iwobi - Nigeria, Vlad Dragomir - Romania

And the list goes on and that's just the youngsters! But I guess you can see what I mean now that Arsenal brings in talent from all over

Global Support:

Arsenal is supported world-wide in great numbers. The Arsenal supporters club has more than 60,000 members, and there are 124 other supporters clubs (and 20 more have put in requests for one) world-wide.
Arsenal reported back in 2011 that they had over 100 million supporters around the world and a few years ago it was found that arsenal had the most supporters on twitter compared to any other English team.
But Arsenal's supporters aren't just normal civilians as there are also some Gooners in higher society such as:
  • Queen Elizabeth II

Introduction to the Blog

Hello and welcome to the blog, my name is Christopher. I have an assignment in Geography to do a blog online and so I am going to be focusing on a topic I am interested in which is football(soccer). Over the next few weeks, I'll be going through different teams(Arsenal, Man United, Real Madrid) and the different areas of the globe their players come from. I'll look through some of the clubs they're connected with and how successful those connections have been.
